CLAREAMENTO DENTAL COM APARELHO ORTODÔNTICO

Resumo
O tema abordado é o clareamento dental com aparelho ortodôntico. O objetivo é revisar a literatura atualmente disponível sobre clareamento dentário realizado durante o tratamento ortodôntico. Buscou-se através da revisão de literatura contemporânea exploratória, em uma pesquisa nas bases de dados eletrônicas empregando termos combinados. O sorriso é essencial na aparência e apresentação do indivíduo, sendo esse um dos motivos para os tratamentos estéticos cada vez mais requisitados. O clareamento dental é uma técnica conservadora podendo ser empregada como auxiliar na obtenção de resultados quando procedimentos mais invasivos são escolhidos na reabilitação estética oral. O clareamento dental durante o tratamento ortodôntico tornou-se viável, uma vez que os produtos e subprodutos conseguem se difundir lateralmente através da estrutura dentária. Sendo assim, o clareamento dentário durante o tratamento ortodôntico é uma opção para os pacientes que buscam estética.
